Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of government contracts, including procurement, solicitation, and contract close-out.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal (FAR) and state regulations regarding public works projects.
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables, preparing detailed progress reports for stakeholders.
- Review and process contracts, change orders, and invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payment.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, legal departments, and government officials to resolve contract issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit readiness and compliance reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract administration, public administration, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of government procurement processes and compliance regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with high-level officials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software (e.g., Procore, Ariba, or similar).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
