Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee municipal contract lifecycle from RFP to closeout
- Ensure compliance with federal/state procurement regulations and city policies
- Coordinate with city departments, vendors, and stakeholders on contract deliverables
- Analyze financial terms and negotiate favorable conditions for the city
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting systems
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Support emergency response procurement during citywide initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of government contracting or procurement experience
- CPM or CPCM certification preferred
- Proficiency with procurement software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong knowledge of FAR, CA Public Contract Code, and SF Administrative Code
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority contracts simultaneously
- Valid California driver's license
