Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for internal government systems and networks.
- Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of sensitive government data in compliance with federal and state regulations (FISMA, NIST).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and security patch management.
- Assist in the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Document technical processes and create training materials for end-users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- 3+ years of experience in an IT support or systems administration role within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Active or ability to obtain a government security clearance (Secret/Top Secret).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
