Responsibilities
- Process and review incoming applications and documents for accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage and maintain confidential government records and databases using secure systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens, vendors, and staff regarding departmental inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, briefings, and official correspondence.
- Coordinate schedules and meetings for department leadership while ensuring all administrative logistics are handled efficiently.
- Conduct routine audits to ensure adherence to city policies and budgetary guidelines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support or public sector operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and government database software.
- Strong understanding of government procurement and compliance standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver's License is required for this position.
