Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate government records and documentation with high attention to detail.
- Interact with the public and internal stakeholders to provide information regarding government services and policies.
- Assist in the coordination of city events and community outreach programs.
- Perform data entry tasks to update departmental databases and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person efficiently and professionally.
- Support senior staff with administrative tasks, including scheduling and report preparation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government database systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to government compliance standards.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible for government employment.
