Responsibilities
- Process and review applications for public assistance programs with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct interviews with applicants to verify eligibility and document findings.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with state regulations and privacy laws.
- Communicate complex policy information to the public in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with state agencies and external partners to resolve case issues.
- Prepare detailed reports and statistical data for state oversight committees.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Previous experience in administrative support or customer service is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
