Responsibilities
- Monitor closed-circuit television (CCTV) and access control systems to detect and report security breaches or irregularities.
- Respond promptly to alarms, fire systems, and emergency alerts in accordance with established protocols.
- Document all incidents, observations, and suspicious activities in detailed shift reports.
- Coordinate with external law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
- Conduct routine patrols of facility grounds to ensure physical security.
- Maintain a secure environment for government assets and personnel.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice or Security Management preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security monitoring, law enforcement, or a related government role.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with government security regulations and emergency response procedures.
