Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned government facilities during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts
- Conduct access control for authorized personnel
- Document all security incidents and activities in digital logs
- Coordinate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Maintain perimeter security and inspect for vulnerabilities
- Provide incident reports to shift supervisors
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen with Michigan residency
- Valid Michigan Security Guard License
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain government security clearance
- Proficient in CCTV operation and report writing
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical fitness to handle patrol duties in all weather conditions
