Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure municipal buildings, facilities, and designated zones during overnight hours
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance using advanced security systems
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents with swift, professional protocols
- Document all security activities, incidents, and observations in digital logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical situations
- Enforce access control procedures for restricted areas
- Maintain constant vigilance against potential security threats
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Security Guard License (Act 235)
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Strong communication skills and crisis management abilities
- Proficient in surveillance technology and reporting software
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification required
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours per shift
