Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain access control.
- Write daily activity reports and assist in investigations as required.
- Operate detection equipment to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and the public as needed.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Washington State Security Guard License required.
- Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
