Responsibilities
- Monitor transit facilities via CCTV systems during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure security and operational compliance
- Respond to security incidents and emergency situations following protocol
- Document and report suspicious activities with detailed incident reports
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Operate security equipment including access control systems and alarms
- Maintain accurate logs of security activities and equipment status
Qualifications
- Valid Minnesota Peace Officer license or equivalent security certification
- Minimum 2 years experience in law enforcement or security operations
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems and emergency response protocols
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during emergency situations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
