Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily office operations, ensuring adherence to government protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Process and review a high volume of documentation, including permits, licenses, and official correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Respond to public inquiries and resolve complex issues efficiently via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Collaborate with various county departments to streamline workflows and improve service delivery to citizens.
- Maintain and update digital databases and filing systems with strict attention to confidentiality and data security.
- Prepare detailed reports, memos, and presentations for department heads and senior management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in administrative support, office management, or a related government or public sector role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with government-specific software or case management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulations to the general public.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and maintain a high level of professionalism under pressure.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
