Responsibilities
- Process and audit pension claims and retirement applications with high accuracy.
- Respond to complex inquiries from retirees regarding benefit calculations and eligibility.
- Conduct regular compliance audits to ensure adherence to state pension laws and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with HR and Legal teams to resolve discrepancies in employee records.
- Maintain and update pension database systems during off-peak hours.
- Prepare detailed reports on pension fund status and distribution trends.
- Assist in the development of training materials for new pension system updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in government benefits, payroll, or pension administration.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite and specialized pension administration software.
- Ability to work efficiently during weekends and holidays as required.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience with HIPAA or ERISA regulations is highly preferred.
