Responsibilities
- Administer daily payroll processing for pension fund participants
- Maintain accurate participant records and benefit calculations
- Ensure compliance with federal/state pension regulations
- Process daily payment transactions and reconcile accounts
- Respond to participant inquiries regarding pension benefits
- Generate monthly/quarterly financial reports
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on payroll integration
- Conduct audits to ensure data integrity and regulatory adherence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 3+ years of pension plan or government payroll experience
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex)
- Knowledge of ERISA, TSP, and public pension regulations
- Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality
- Certification in Pension Administration (preferred)
