Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational goals
- Develop compelling grant proposals with compelling narratives, budgets, and supporting documents
- Manage relationships with 50+ funding partners and stakeholders
- Track compliance for all funded projects and prepare progress reports
- Maintain accurate grant databases and pipeline tracking systems
- Collaborate with program teams to identify funding needs and opportunities
- Stay current on funding trends and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience
- Proven success securing $500K+ in annual funding
- Expertise with federal (SAM.gov), state, and private foundations
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
- Advanced knowledge of nonprofit financial management
- Proficiency with grant databases (e.g., GrantStation, Instrumentl)
- Strong project management and organizational skills
