Responsibilities
- Research and identify strategic grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
- Develop, write, and submit high-impact grant proposals exceeding $500K annually
- Craft compelling narratives and budgets that demonstrate measurable community outcomes
- Cultivate relationships with diverse funding sources including foundations, government agencies, and corporations
- Collaborate with program teams to gather data and ensure proposal accuracy
- Manage grant application timelines and compliance requirements
- Prepare post-award reports showcasing program impact and fiscal stewardship
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years proven grant writing experience with $1M+ secured funds
- Expertise in federal, state, and private foundation grant processes
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with portfolio of successful proposals
- Proficiency in grant databases (e.g., Candid, GrantStation) and CRM systems
- Strong analytical abilities for budget development and outcome measurement
- Experience working with diverse community stakeholders and cultural competencies
