Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with community needs
- Develop compelling grant proposals and narratives with 95%+ success rate
- Manage grant reporting requirements and compliance documentation
- Cultivate relationships with foundation program officers and stakeholders
- Analyze funding trends and adjust strategies for maximum impact
- Maintain detailed grant pipeline tracking system
- Collaborate with program directors to align funding requests with organizational goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or related field
- 3+ years proven grant writing experience with $1M+ secured
- Expertise in federal, state, and private grant applications
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with portfolio of successful proposals
- Strong analytical abilities for budget development and impact measurement
- Proficiency in grant management software (e.g., GrantStation, Instrumentl)
- Demonstrated success in securing multi-year funding commitments
