Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legislation and regulatory impacts for municipal operations
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for city council
- Manage interdepartmental projects with $1M+ budgets
- Prepare detailed reports for legislative hearings and public forums
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Collaborate with community stakeholders and advocacy groups
- Lead crisis response protocols during emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years government/public sector experience
- Advanced certification in policy analysis (preferred)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- US citizenship and ability to obtain federal clearance
- Experience with Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS)
