Responsibilities
- Analyze complex municipal policies and draft evidence-based recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement city-wide initiatives Monitor legislative changes and assess impact on San Diego communities
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for city council meetings
- Manage public engagement processes and stakeholder communications
- Conduct quantitative research using government datasets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of California municipal governance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain security clearance (required)
