Responsibilities
- Administer federal and state grant programs for community development initiatives
- Analyze policy impacts and recommend compliance adjustments to local ordinances
- Coordinate interdepartmental projects with 15+ city agencies
- Prepare detailed budget reports and performance metrics for council presentations
- Conduct public outreach sessions for underserved neighborhoods
- Lead cross-functional teams during emergency response activations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or related field
- 3+ years of government program management experience
- Advanced proficiency in federal grant reporting systems (e.g., GAINS, FEMA portals)
- Valid California driver's license
- Certification in Public Procurement (CPPB) or equivalent
- Experience with Title VI compliance and ADA accessibility standards
- Ability to obtain FEMA Incident Command System certifications within 6 months
