Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public policy initiatives aligned with state objectives
- Analyze data and prepare detailed reports for legislative recommendations
- Coordinate interdepartmental projects ensuring compliance with federal regulations
- Manage stakeholder relationships including community organizations and government agencies
- Conduct program evaluations and recommend process improvements
- Oversee budget allocations and grant compliance activities
- Represent the department at public hearings and community outreach events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of government or non-profit program management experience
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, or similar)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Ohio state regulations and federal compliance requirements
- Project management certification (PMP or similar) preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Valid Ohio driver's license
