Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and provide data-driven recommendations to city leadership
- Research federal, state, and local regulations affecting Phoenix residents
- Develop and maintain comprehensive policy briefs and implementation plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policy alignment with community needs
- Monitor legislative changes and assess potential impacts on city operations
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear, concise written and verbal communications
- Support emergency response initiatives during critical public situations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of government or public policy experience
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or similar)
- Strong understanding of Arizona state and local government structures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote setting
