Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol government facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security breaches and emergency incidents with protocol-compliant procedures
- Conduct access control for authorized personnel and visitors
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate activity logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical situations
- Implement emergency response plans for natural disasters or security threats
- Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance of security systems
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Peace Officer certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols
- Proficient in CCTV monitoring and access control systems
- Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with clean record
