Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms across government premises
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure compliance with security protocols
- Respond immediately to security breaches and emergency incidents
- Document all security incidents and maintenance activities in digital logs
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents
- Maintain access control systems and verify personnel credentials
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security enhancements
Qualifications
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) License
- Minimum 2 years experience in security or law enforcement
- Proficient with CCTV monitoring systems and access control technology
- Valid UK driving license with clean record
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (22:00-06:00)
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
