Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned government facilities and grounds to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry.
- Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes.
- Respond immediately to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and logbook entries after each shift.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and officials.
- Conduct routine inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and security equipment.
- Enforce all local, state, and federal laws and facility regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or the military is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Valid Ohio Driver's License (CDL preferred for transportation roles).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical duties for extended periods.
