Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of municipal buildings, parks, and public infrastructure to deter crime and maintain order.
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond immediately to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies.
- Enforce city ordinances and federal regulations with a focus on de-escalation and community relations.
- Prepare and file detailed incident reports and logs accurately and promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service to the public, assisting with inquiries and directing traffic.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and other city agencies to coordinate safety efforts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Nevada Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or public service is highly preferred.
