Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure government facilities during overnight shifts using advanced surveillance systems
- Enforce access control protocols and verify credentials for all personnel
- Conduct regular patrols to deter criminal activity and ensure property integrity
- Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarm activations with swift coordination
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Operate emergency equipment and follow crisis management procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Valid Florida Class D Security License or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 2 years security, military, or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Certified in CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficient with surveillance technology and reporting systems
- Must be available for flexible scheduling including weekends/holidays
