Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facilities during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Conduct security screenings and access control for personnel and vehicles
- Document incident reports and maintain detailed security logs
- Respond to emergencies following established protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify vulnerabilities
- Operate advanced security technology including biometric scanners and CCTV
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for reporting systems
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Emergency response certification or willingness to obtain
