Responsibilities
- Process and verify a high volume of government documentation and permit applications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public, responding to inquiries regarding city regulations, zoning, and services.
- Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal compliance standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain and organize both physical and digital records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with department heads and cross-functional teams to streamline government processes.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and statistical data analysis.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or government operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and government-specific software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulations to the public clearly.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
