Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for government systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Perform system testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to resolve complex technical issues.
- Implement and maintain data security protocols to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Document technical processes and provide training to end-users and junior staff members.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Strong experience with database management systems (SQL, Oracle) and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems under pressure.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a government or public sector environment is a significant plus.
