Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure facility premises and sensitive government assets during weekend shifts.
- Perform routine security checks, access control procedures, and patrol duties.
- Respond promptly to facility alarms, emergency notifications, and security incidents.
- Maintain accurate, detailed logs of daily activities, visitor records, and incidents.
- Assist with light administrative duties, data entry, and filing of public records.
- Collaborate with the weekday operations team to ensure seamless continuity of services.
- Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local government safety and security regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential security risks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills (Microsoft Office suite).
- Previous experience in a security, law enforcement, or public service role is preferred but not required.
