Responsibilities
- Monitor public facilities and ensure compliance with city regulations during weekend shifts
- Respond to citizen inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Document incidents and maintain accurate activity logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Conduct routine safety inspections of assigned areas
- Assist with weekend community events and public gatherings
- Prepare shift reports and submit to department supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of public administration principles
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous government or public service experience
