Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with organizational mission and program goals
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation
- Cultivate relationships with foundation representatives and funding partners
- Manage grant reporting requirements and compliance documentation
- Analyze funding trends and adjust strategies to maximize success rates
- Collaborate with program teams to gather impact data and narrative content
- Maintain accurate grant calendars and submission deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, English, Nonprofit Management)
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with 80%+ success rate
- Proven track record securing grants from federal, state, and private foundations
- Exceptional writing skills with ability to translate complex programs into compelling narratives
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and financial reporting
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Bloomerang) and grant databases
- Demonstrated knowledge of nonprofit accounting and compliance standards
- Portfolio of successfully funded grant proposals required
