Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private grant opportunities aligned with organizational goals
- Develop persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documents
- Cultivate relationships with program staff to gather compelling impact data
- Manage grant application pipeline and ensure timely submission compliance
- Prepare interim/final reports demonstrating program outcomes to funders
- Stay current on funding trends and regulatory changes
- Maintain accurate grant database and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, English, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of proven grant writing experience with $500K+ secured
- Portfolio showcasing 5+ successful grant applications
- Expertise in federal (SAM.gov), foundation, and corporate grant processes
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and grant management software
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to translate complex program data into compelling narratives
