Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, private, and corporate grant opportunities aligned with our mission
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation
- Cultivate relationships with funders and program stakeholders
- Manage grant application processes from research to submission
- Prepare comprehensive grant reports and impact evaluations
- Collaborate with program teams to gather necessary project data
- Maintain accurate grant databases and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience
- Proven track record of securing $500,000+ annually in grant funding
- Expertise in federal, state, and private grant applications
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Advanced proficiency with grant management software (e.g., Salesforce NPSP)
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and impact measurement
