Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and secure funding opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations
- Develop persuasive grant proposals, reports, and supporting documents aligned with funder priorities
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with program officers and key stakeholders
- Manage grant pipelines and ensure timely submission of all materials
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
- Maintain accurate records of grant activities and outcomes in Salesforce
- Mentor junior staff on grant writing best practices and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, English, Communications, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of proven grant writing success with $500K+ secured annually
- Portfolio demonstrating 10+ successful grant applications from diverse funders
- Expertise in federal/state grant processes (SAM.gov, Grants.gov)
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and grant databases
- Ability to thrive in remote collaboration environments
- Knowledge of Tampa's nonprofit landscape strongly preferred
