Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from private foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Develop persuasive grant proposals tailored to specific funding priorities and guidelines
- Collaborate with program staff to gather program data and impact metrics
- Manage grant application deadlines and maintain detailed reporting systems
- Build and nurture relationships with potential funding partners
- Prepare grant reports and ensure compliance with funding requirements
- Analyze funding trends and recommend strategic funding opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Nonprofit Management, English, Communications, etc.)
- 3+ years of proven grant writing experience with documented success
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with nonprofit funding landscape and grant databases
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a flexible work environment
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and program evaluation
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful grant applications
