Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
- Develop persuasive grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation exceeding $2M in secured funding
- Cultivate relationships with 50+ program officers and foundation representatives
- Collaborate with program directors to translate complex initiatives into compelling narratives
- Manage grant reporting requirements and compliance documentation
- Analyze funding trends and maintain competitive intelligence database
Qualifications
- 3+ years of successful grant writing experience with 80%+ funding success rate
- Portfolio demonstrating $500K+ in secured grants for nonprofit/social impact
- Advanced degree in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- Expertise in federal/state grant applications (SAM.gov, Grants.gov)
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud preferred)
- Deep understanding of Wichita's philanthropic landscape
- Certified Grant Writer (GPC) designation strongly preferred
