Responsibilities
- Research and identify federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational mission
- Develop compelling grant proposals with compelling narratives, budgets, and supporting documentation
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and foundation representatives
- Manage grant reporting requirements and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with program staff to develop fundable project concepts
- Maintain accurate grant pipeline tracking and reporting systems
- Conduct prospect research and analyze funding trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of grant writing experience with 501(c)(3) organizations
- Track record of securing $500K+ annually in grant funding
- Expertise with federal, state, and private grant applications
- Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities
- Proficiency with grant management software (e.g., Salesforce NPSP)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
