Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue grant opportunities from federal, state, private, and corporate foundations
- Develop compelling grant proposals with clear budgets, narratives, and supporting documentation
- Cultivate relationships with program staff to gather program outcomes and impact data
- Manage grant reporting requirements and ensure timely submission of deliverables
- Maintain accurate grant databases and track funding pipeline progress
- Collaborate with finance team to develop compliant budgets and financial narratives
- Stay current on funding trends and compliance regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Portfolio demonstrating $500K+ in secured grants within past 3 years
- Expertise in grant databases (e.g., Candid, Instrumentl) and proposal development
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong analytical abilities for budget development and outcome measurement
- Experience with nonprofit accounting principles and grant compliance
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
