Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from federal, state, private, and corporate foundations
- Develop compelling grant proposals and applications aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborate with program staff to gather accurate program data and impact metrics
- Manage grant reporting requirements and maintain compliance with funder guidelines
- Cultivate relationships with potential funders through strategic outreach and networking
- Maintain accurate grant calendars and submission deadlines
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, Non-profit Management, English)
- 3+ years of proven grant writing experience in a non-profit setting
- Track record of securing $500,000+ annually in grant funding
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proficiency with grant management software (e.g., Salesforce NPSP, GrantStation)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with federal grant applications (e.g., HRSA, SAMHSA)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
