Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Develop persuasive grant proposals and applications aligned with organizational goals
- Collaborate with program staff to gather impact data and project narratives
- Manage grant reporting requirements and maintain accurate funding databases
- Build and maintain relationships with current and potential funders
- Track funding trends and identify new strategic funding opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with non-profits
- Proven track record of securing $500k+ in annual grant funding
- Expertise in researching and applying to diverse funding sources
- Exceptional writing skills with attention to detail and deadlines
- Familiarity with Richmond's non-profit landscape preferred
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
