Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from federal, state, corporate, and private foundations
- Develop compelling grant proposals and applications aligned with organizational goals and funder requirements
- Craft persuasive narratives, budgets, and supporting documents for submissions
- Manage grant reporting requirements and maintain accurate compliance documentation
- Cultivate relationships with program staff to gather necessary data and impact stories
- Analyze funding trends and adjust strategies to maximize success rates
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nonprofit funding landscapes and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Strong research and analytical abilities to identify funding opportunities
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and grant databases
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
