- Develop compelling grant proposals with measurable outcomes and budgets
- Cultivate relationships with foundation program officers and funding partners
- Manage grant reporting requirements and compliance documentation
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations
- Maintain accurate grant databases and pipeline tracking
- Collaborate with program staff to develop impactful project narratives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of grant writing experience for nonprofit organizations
- Proven track record of securing $500K+ annually in competitive grants
- Expertise in federal, state, and foundation grant processes
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and impact measurement
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Jersey City nonprofit landscape preferred
