Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop and write persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports
- Collaborate with program staff to gather information and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Manage grant application processes, including deadlines, budgets, and reporting requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing funders
- Analyze grant outcomes and prepare impact reports for funders
- Stay current on funding trends and best practices in grant writing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional grant writing experience with a proven track record
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Strong research abilities and knowledge of funding sources
- Experience developing grant budgets and financial narratives
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and grant management software
