Responsibilities
- Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals to federal, state, and private foundations.
- Identify and analyze new funding opportunities that align with organizational goals.
- Manage the full grant lifecycle, including budget preparation and compliance reporting.
- Cultivate relationships with program officers and stakeholders to secure future funding.
- Maintain accurate databases of funding sources and critical application deadlines.
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure grant outcomes align with community needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional grant writing experience, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Proven track record of securing funding from diverse sources (government, corporate, foundation).
- Excellent research and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on persuasion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software (e.g., Fluxx, GrantMaker).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for site visits as needed.
