Responsibilities
- Research and identify new grant opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations to maximize funding potential.
- Develop and write high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and progress reports that align with funder requirements.
- Collaborate with program directors and stakeholders to define project goals, outcomes, and evaluation metrics.
- Manage the full grant lifecycle, ensuring timely submissions and strict adherence to compliance guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, donors, and funding agencies.
- Analyze funding trends and provide strategic recommendations to enhance our overall development strategy.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional grant writing experience, preferably in the non-profit or healthcare sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven track record of securing significant funding from diverse sources with a focus on high-impact grants.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills with a keen attention to detail and grammar.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in database management and grant tracking software.
