Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and secure funding opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations.
- Write compelling, error-free grant proposals and narrative reports that align with funder requirements.
- Manage the complete grant lifecycle, from submission to post-award reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather data and stories that highlight the impact of our work.
- Maintain a master calendar of deadlines to ensure timely submissions.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of potential donors and funding sources.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in grant writing, proposal development, or fundraising.
- Demonstrated success in securing funding from federal or state grant programs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and persuasion.
- Strong research abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, or related field.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
