Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with program staff to gather impact data and narrative content
- Manage grant application timelines and ensure compliance with funder requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and funding partners
- Track grant outcomes and prepare stewardship reports for funders
- Stay current on trends in philanthropy and grant regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven success
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Experience with nonprofit financial management and budget development
- Familiarity with Tampa Bay philanthropic landscape preferred
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with grant management software (e.g., Salesforce NPSP)
