Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations
- Develop compelling grant proposals aligned with organizational goals and funder requirements
- Manage grant application processes including budgets, narratives, and compliance documentation
- Build and maintain relationships with funding partners and community stakeholders
- Analyze funding trends and prepare reports on grant outcomes and impact metrics
- Maintain accurate grant databases and submission calendars
- Collaborate with program teams to ensure project deliverables meet funder expectations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or related field
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Tampa Bay non-profit landscape and funding priorities
- Proficiency in grant management software (e.g., GrantStation, Salesforce NPSP)
- Strong analytical skills for budget development and impact reporting
- Certified Grant Writer (GC) or equivalent preferred
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
